Collecting the data of Restoration of the historical site must be achieved through the investigation and record. However, the investigation of the historical site before restoration begins is also important, because all the restoration jobs have to rely on those data. Therefore, it is necessary for an investigator to examine the present status of the historical site during the primary investigation; using the methods of drawing and recording to preserve relevant information, considering the need of the restoration of the historical site, deciding the methods and the direction of the investigation, and furthermore arranging the data into useful information.
The raw data after the investigation is usually enormous. Therefore, the main purpose of this thesis concentrates on the efficiency of completing the investigation, completeness of data recording, and arrangement of the data systematically. |
