The Aim of this research is the analysis of the socio-
historical change of peasant society and building under the
effect of various dominant forces. From the case study of
Kinmen Chyonglin and Penghus Singren, this essay will make a respective comparision of (1) how the social structure and building of Kinemen and Penghus during the pre-capitalism period changed in the lineage migration history; (2) during the Kinmen under the dominance of overseas remittance and the Japanese colonial ruled Penhus periods, what the process of“ modernization ” and between them the difference is; (3) after the War ; how the national strategies and its division of space reconstructed Kinmen and Penhus. |
