Despite the remoteness of Orchid Island and its exotic culture have resulted in extremely high mobility rates among the teachers on the island, quite a few Chinese teachers decided to stay instead. This study targeted on five Chinese teachers who volunteered to work on the island for more than five years and their services have been widely appreciated by both school principals and local residents. |
