This essay tries to evaluate, via "deep space" thinking, the spatiality of cities / towns located in Taiwan western terraces, which arisen from dialectic in view of political and economic changes within or without the island. Consequently, I take Shin-Dian area as an example, studying how its idiosyncrasy forms through social reproduction realization, and through mutual influences of those land resource, social organization and state policy in the sequence of time. |
