This research study wants to investigate the difference and the relationship between single children and non-single children’s attachment and life adjustment in Tainan city. Subjects are single children and non-single children in fourth grade and sixth grade from 14 public elementary schools within Tainan city. Total number of subjects is 464. This research uses questionnaire for gathering data. The research instruments include “The Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment” and “The Revision of Elementary School Children Life Adjustment”. The data gathered are processed using mult- variate analysis with three-way ANOVA and Pearson correlation.
