This research evaluated the potential of the Su-Paiwan Aboriginal village, located in the Southern Pingtung County of Taiwan, to take up indigenous cultural tourism as a community development option. During the period of 2002/2003, a total of 30 community members were surveyed with semi-structured and structured interviews. Also, in-depth organized discussions were held with a focus group, which consisted of a total of 10 community members, tribal and village leaders.
