The Tayal are the most extensive territory in Taiwanese aboriginal race now. The population of the Tayal is second to Amis. The tribe is a basic unit, called Gaga in the Tayal. Recently there has been a trend for the Tayal to rehabilitate a part of aboriginal culture, and to rebuild relation of culture to the future generation. The objectives were described fishing gears and methods of the Tayal lived in Huanshan.
