This research focuses on wood sculpture industry of Paiwan in Layyi Ping-tung. The survey, in form of questionnaires, contains material resource and current development of this industry. The questionnaire was designed by some reports: industrial theory of Portor (1980), current situation/ problems, and future development of this industry. Moreover, SWOT analysis is also applied to the questionnaire. Suggestions from SWOT analysis are not only for culture preservation of aboriginal wood sculpture industry, but also useful references of making future marketing strategies.
