Under the impact that office automation, many jobs in organizations have been changed in their nature. In this study, I examined the effect of office automation on the the content, characteristics, and roles of secretary job. I used questionnaires to collect data from a sample of secretaries working for the companies in Hsinchu Science-based Industrial Park.
