The objectives of this thesis are (1) to search for the development and the trend of architectural styles of industrial buildings. (2) to find out the factors that affect the trend and transformation of architectural styles from 1980 to 1999 in Hsinchu Science-Based Industrial Park. In addition to field observation and analysis, the thesis interviewed the architectures to explore the reasons of changing styles.
