3DEC program was developed which under the distinct element method.The numerical analysis software 3DEC (three dimensional distinct element code) used in this research consider that rock mass is composed with many discrete rock blocks and explore the stress relationship between blocks for the whole rock mass behavior.The purpose of this research is to use 3DEC numerical analysis tools to analyze the stress distribution and displacement of bench slope using New Castle mine of Asia cement company as example.
