This study collects 376 effective sample drawings from 190 students (grades 2, 4 and 6) of Hualien Xing-Fu Elementary School to investigate the differences in the use of content themes and representational strategies in their comic expressive drawings among different grades. We first classify the expressive drawings according to the content theme table and the representational strategy table respectively, and then analyze the data statistically. In addition, in order to explore the features in student's comic expressive drawings, we also interview students and analyze the data qualitatively.
