The main purpose of this study was to investigate life stresses, coping strategies, and physic-psycho status for foreign brides in Meinung area. The research subjects were selected by purposeful sampling. Those 109 subjects are mainland Chinese brides and Southeast Asia brides, half of them immigrated to Taiwan less than three years and half of them immigrated more than four years. Two Vietnam brides were deep interviewed in this study.
