中文摘要 本研究的目的在探討十二週新式健身操活動對國小高年級學童體適能的影響.以高雄縣永安鄉永安國小五年級男、女學童共60名為研究對象,其中實驗組男生15名、女生15名;對照組男生15名、女生15名.實驗組實施十二週每週三天的新式健身操活動,每次約15分鐘,對照組則不實施.實驗組與對照組都進行體適能前、後測,測驗項目為教育部所頒布的1.身體質量指數2.坐姿體前彎3.立定跳遠4.30秒及60秒屈膝仰臥起坐5.八百公尺跑走.將體適能前測的資料用獨立樣本t考驗分析,結果顯示實驗組與對照組的同質性高. 
英文摘要 The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of physical fitness on elementary school high-grade students after The New Style Gymnastics activities for 12-week. Sixty students of five-grade of Yeong-An elementary school, Kaoshioung, Taiwan were elected as the subjects. The experimental group consisted of 15 boys and 15 girls, too. The subjects of experiment carry out 3-day a week of 12-week The New Style Gymnastics activities about five minutes a time, and the subjects of control weren’t. The experimental group and the control group had to go through all the testing events before and after the training. The test method was used the standard way of Education Ministry, Taiwan, R.O.C.,including (1)body mass index, (2)sit and research, (3)standing boarding jump, (4)30 and 60 seconds curl-ups,and (5)800m run. A dependent t-test was run to compare the differences of physical fitness between the experimental and control group before the training and the result appeared that the homogeneity between two groups was high.
