This paper aimed at presenting how factors such as economic and social changes, government policies on salt industry, and the development of salt-making villages impacted salt-makers' finance, education, infrastructure, and religious activities. The research methodology on native history is document collecting, field studies, and statistical analysis as a supplement. Implementing these methods, the researcher has concluded the features of the changes of salt makers’ life and gained more knowledge of their life and culture.
