The Zhaoan Hakka in Lunbei Township and Urlun Township will be divided into three generations in this study, that is: the senior, the youth and the children. Literature analysis, participation and observation, questionnaire survey and semi-structural interview methods will be used in the current study. The research result shows that: Zhaoan Hakka language is seriously lost and the ethnic awareness of Zhaoan Hakka becomes higher as their ages become older; Zhaoan Hakka has very strong ethnic identity and high confidence toward the inside but the interaction with other ethnic group is obviously insufficient; moreover, the self-identification with other ethnic group becomes more hazier and multi-identification is thus formed.
