This study adopted a similar method of experimental study, the object of study was the eighteen single-parental children in 5th and 6th grade of Yunlin County. The instruments were the "Children's self-concept scale" and the "Children's multiple intelligence scale". The study also gathered some qualitative data including children's reacting, feedback, observation record and interview to understand the effect of the Bibliotherapy Action on single-parent children counselling. Finally, according to the results,some important suggestions were presented for educater and future research.
