This research reviews the literature to analyze the teaching material of geographical information system in the geographical textbook of high school, and how the teachers utilize geographical information system to design the content of courses. It is that utilizing GIS software to design the teaching material of regional geography, and through teaching experiment, probing into the influence and difference of studying achievement between auxiliary teaching of GIS and PowerPoint.
