This research has also chosen the Tatungshih settlement of Shihtan in Miaoli county as a subject of study, comparing the differences between this area and the image of an ideal ecological community, further using this result as a basis to point out directions for improvement, according to fundamental ecology theory. With this research, we also hope to bring out an inspirational concept for the future planning and renewal of communities in Taiwan
