The purpose of the study is to discuss the practicability and limitation of Situational Teaching in elementary school's writing classes as well as identifying and solving problems that teachers may encounter during teaching.
This study employs action research and the samples include teaching and learning activities and the articles from the students during the third-grade writing class in the elementary school. The researcher, also the teacher himself, cooperates with 35 students and their classroom teacher. The researcher is in the writing class to do observation. The techniques of gathering data include observation, interviews, questionnaires, document, video recording and audio recording. The data has to be continuously condensed, presented and verified till the research is accomplished.
