This thesis studied the settibility of flocs and stability of the sludge blanket, using the highly turbid storm water by tropical storm Nari and synthetic raw water as samples. The resulting flocs size and compactness were monitored using small angle light scattering technique. Experimental design technique was adopted to study the effects of pH, turbidity, and alkalinity of suspension, the PACl dosage, and the dosed amount of humic acid on the supernatant quality.
