The major purpose of this study is to assess the effects of a Gestalt group intervention on self-concept , assertiveness and shyness of shy children of elementary school.Subjects were eighteen fourth grade students including both male and female students of an elementary school, with problems in shyness, assigned randomly to the treatment group or control group.
