The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of using predictable book instruction on English learning attitude and learning achievement of fifth graders in elementary school. Sixty-four fifth graders who did not learn English at language cram schools were divided into two groups. One was experimental group and the other was control group. Statistical analysis showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups.
