The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect on learning motivation and learning strategies of fifth grade students in elementary science subject. The method used in this study is semi-experiment design with four groups(classes) . The sum of the sampling subjects administered in the study are 140. The assessment procedures administered in the study are paper-and-pencil test, performance assessment, mix-assessment procedure of paper-and-pencil test with performance assessment, and non of any assessment procedures.
