This study is to analyze the substantial spatial tranformation of the cities close to the ports and its pertinent elements in earlier Taiwan. Basing on the case study of Yan-shui Gong of Tainan Hsien, the essence and influential factors of the city street spatial transformation and development over a long period of time are cautiously studied and analyzed.
