Many precious cultural resources lost in the process of Taiwan’s rapid growth can be found in Kinmen due to its unique historic background and position; such as traditional cultural historic spots, battlefield spots, and special industrial activities, are all characteristic of local culture. In this research, through conducting investigation on local residents, we seek to discuss the development of traditional settlements culture in Kinmen after the lifting of local tourism restrictions, and also the reaction of local residents toward traditional settlements culture. |
