This study refers to the domestic and foreign successful cases that promote the preservation of historical areas and traditional settlements, enabling new lives for sustainable development of local settlements. Focusing on the uniqueness and ecological environment of the local human and cultural settlements, this study constructs an integrated sustainable operation mechanism for the regeneration and development of settlement environment based on international projects, trend of sustainable preservation and regeneration development of traditional buildings, so as to offer a bench mark for the formulation of plans and strategies for the regeneration and sustainable development of humanistic communities and settlements. |
