The present study was focused on outdoor environmental teaching for ninth graders in Kau-Mei Wetland, Chinshue, Taichung. Integrate the features of natural environment and ecological resources to develop activities suitable for outdoor teaching. And finally design student’s activity manuals.
The participants were divided into experimental group and control group. Participants in experimental group joined the outdoor environmental teaching while participants in control group didn’t. The participants’ pretest-posttest data of academic performance were analyzed to collect individual achievement and diagnose difficulties of learning. The implementations of student’s activity manuals as well as students’ attitude were also analyzed in forms of questionnaire and interview.
