The purpose of this study was to investigate the efficiency of Riverbed
girdles in torrent control at laterite terrace area, that have the function of
dredging, regularizing, reducing erosion and adjusting riverbed slope of up-
stream riverbed having coarse debris. The study area located at Da-Bay-Kern
creek in Lung-Tan County. In analyzing results, that Riverbed girdle was better than Groundsill work in the opinion of economy and landscape .
