The Hsinchuang fault, which elongates from Kuantu to Taoyuan, is westernmost margin of fold-thrust belt in north Taiwan. Itinkou tableland from the Taipei basin. In the past, the nature ofault has been a subject of debate and both thrust and normalve been proposed. To solve this controversy, this studye paleostress pattern of the Hsinchuang fault by measuring theckenside of fault plane and impact structure of conglomerate. |
