Nowadays, localized education is the main stream of the revolution in education throughout the world. It is also an important policy in the nine-year intergration curriculum. This research aims at discussing the curricula of the hometown courses in the elementary schools --- It takes the curricula and teaching of the ku-chui folk music in the Chung-Cheng elementary school in Kinmen for example. This research focuses on (1) the description of the planning, the goals, the characteritics and the implementation of the curriculum and its meanings and value in the hometown course. (2) how the teachers teach, select teaching materials, and present (3) how much the students learn and what are the opinions from the parents (4) what are the difficulties in the implementation of ku-chui folk music. |
