The purpose of this study is to explore the Tsou's perception of ecotourism and their attitude toward future ecotourism development. As indicated from the result, the Tsou have more positive perception of ecotourism principles which are resource protection, benefits feedback, nature base, environmental education, management method, and interpretational service. As for future ecotourism development, the Tsou have more positive attitude toward interpreting resource point, tourism industry service, sustainable development strategy, expressing residents’ opinion, and local management. Further a cluster analysis of 26 item the Tsou’s perception of ecotourism was conducted to divide the Tsou into three groups, named as“the group of high perception”,“the group of general perception”, and“the group of proximal perception”. |
