The purpose of this study was to investigate the process and the effects for executing the environmental education with outdoor education. The objectives of this study were as follows: investigating the process of the course development on outdoor environment, investigating the effective methods which promote the effects of outdoor environmental education, investigating the promotion of the students’ environmental knowledge and environmental attitude by outdoor environmental education, investigating the researcher’s individual growth. The researcher used the students of the school that the researcher served as the studying object, and organized a research group that the members mainly came from the organization of science and life technology in this school. The curriculum of outdoor environmental education was developed based on the field of the Kau-Mei wetland. Three classes of the fifth grade in this school were selected as the experimental groups, and executed three teaching cycles.
